Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Giga Enterprises (“GigaFleet,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the GigaFleet platform and this website.
Who we are
GigaFleet is a fleet-operations platform for waste haulers and municipalities, provided by Giga Enterprises, Costa Mesa, California. GigaFleet is a business-to-business (B2B) service used by hauling operators, cities, and their contractors.
Information we collect
- Account & contact information — name, business email, phone, and company, provided when you request a demo, create an account, or contact us.
- Operational data you or your organization enter into the platform — routes, stops, addresses, vehicles, drivers, service records, photos, and GPS/location captured by the mobile driver app to prove service completion.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, and interactions with the service, used for security and to operate the product.
How we use information
- Operate and provide the platform — dispatch, routing, field operations, and reporting.
- Generate compliance and program reporting (for example, SB1383 diversion tracking) at your direction.
- Provide support, communicate with you, and process demo requests.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Improve the reliability and performance of the service.
Operational data is your organization’s data
Operational data entered into the platform belongs to your organization. We process it on your behalf as a service provider, under your instructions and your agreement with us. We do not use your operational data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
How information is shared
- Infrastructure providers — the platform runs on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase, which host and process data on our behalf.
- Integrations you enable — such as webhooks, REST API consumers, or data exports you configure to send data to your own systems.
- Legal requirements — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
Security
We protect data using the measures described on our Security page, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and per-organization data isolation.
Your choices and California privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” (we do not sell personal information). California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise a right, email [email protected]. Where we process operational data on behalf of an organization, we will route requests to that organization.
Children
GigaFleet is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
